Comments about the Park supplied by the Park

All sites are powered, but if power is NOT required, the cost is reduced. All sites have shade and shelter. We have 10 generous "drive through" sites.

The park is being continuously upgraded and maintained. We also offer economic-basic cabin accommodation. They are in the style of a "Donga", or a mining hut. Very, very comfortable, includes reverse A/C, TV, 3 beds, Fridge. Check them out on our web site.

We also cater for back-packers, tent-camping, local and overseas seasonal workers. Single campers, back packers cost is $10.00 per person.

Camp fires in park-approved fire drums are allowed, except on fire restriction days. Firewood available at a cost or you can scrounge around for some dry sticks.

Free to use Gas BBQ and free to use Gas Pizza Oven. Please consider others and clean up after use.

What's at Lake Bolac?
An excellent 9 hole golf course (cheap green fees). An excellent 25 meter swimming pool, open in warmer months/afternoons. A great football oval with cricket pitch and netball courts, for the youngsters and young at heart. Tennis Courts for anyone, anytime. An excellent, well-kept Bowls club with artificial grass. Lake Bolac, fishing, boating, windsurfing. All within 50 meters of this park.

The Grampians are about 40 km from Lake Bolac. The Great Ocean Rd about 90 km. Gold fields 50 km.

Lake Bolac is a GREAT PLACE for your next Victorian holiday destination. WE'VE GOT IT ALL.

The Lake is full and is being stocked on a yearly basis by "Fisheries". Fishing, boating, skiing, swimming are the main sports, besides just enjoying the wonder full scenery and the friendly people of Lake Bolac. By the way, the WORLD'S LARGEST short-finned eel was caught in Lake Bolac. Did you know, that eels, like burramundi live in fresh water, but breed in the ocean. Ours return to the ocean and breed in Northern Australia.

"Welcome to our Paradise, welcome to Lake Bolac"
